Preserving your photographic legacy

This article in the Australian Euroa-Gazette makes a very important point:
Pictorial records of single or childless people are often wasted because there is no direct descendent to treasure them.

Not that those with children are guaranteed to have someone looking after their legacy, but for the childfree who wish to preserve their legacy, this may be something to consider.

This is interesting in light of the fact that I enjoy scrapbooking, even though I'm childfree. People may wonder why I bother, since I don't have kids to leave them to. But for me, the fun is the actual scrapping, then looking back through the books. Plus, there's always the nieces or nephews. I don't care about that so much as just doing them for fun.
Thanks!

You're welcome! How interesting about the scrapbooking. I always thought it was weird that people suddenly wanted to record every detail of their kids' lives while ignoring their own. Good for you!

Debi,
It's nice to see other childfree people scrapping. I love to scrap and the great thing is - I have time to! Unlike most my friends and sisters. I enjoy it and I really don't care if there is no-one to look at it after I'm gone.
